Two months old...

Looks like he wants to crawl to me, but he isn't quite there yet. Sam was visited by his Aunt Laura and cousin Parker this past week. He took his first swim in the pool, and as you'll notice from the pictures whenever he is wet he looks huge in photographs. After each feeding he is much more active and noisy than ever. He "coos" a lot, it sounds like he is talking to us. I just put a mobile on his crib, he got very excited the first time he heard and saw it.

We are not sure when he started smiling, but these past few days have been a lot of fun. Sunday seemed like a definitely breakthrough with his expressions.

The most current set of pictures was taken during and after one of Sam's sponge-baths. We are still waiting for the end of his cord to fall off so that he can have a "real" bath in his baby tub. Also, his full head of hair is starting to fall off, which we knew was a possibility. Right now he looks like he has a receding hair line.

We took a bunch of very cute pictures of Sam a few nights ago post-bath. This one was taken while we watched the presidential debate. Sam didn't feel like watching, but he agreed with us that the first half of the debate was terrible and pointless.

Samuel is now two weeks old, and a lot of fun! He had lots of visitors this week, his Grandmama and Granddaddy and his Aunt Abby and Uncle Keith. He ventured out a few times: to the park for a walk in his stroller, to Outback, to Harvest Moon and then to church this morning. As usual click on this photo to see a lot more...
