We just returned from a month away from home, spending most of our time in Cranberry Township, PA. We have tons of great pics of Sam (of course!), including this one of him being held by Jessie's great uncle Bob who married us 3.5 years ago.
Sam discovered his thumb yesterday, we found him sucking it during naptime. So cute!
Here is Sam with his Uncle Keith at his Aunt Kimberly's and now Uncle David's wedding. Sam had a great time and met dozens of his relatives. Sam did a great job of picking his outfits and matching the tuxes Uncle Keith and his Daddy had on.
We have been driving all over the place- Rome to Franklin, Franklin to Louisville, Louisville to Pittsburgh and Sam has done a great job. He has slept almost the whole way, which has made things easier on us.
Sam has been "talking" a ton lately. When you lay him down he makes fun noises non-stop, it is great!
Looks like he wants to crawl to me, but he isn't quite there yet. Sam was visited by his Aunt Laura and cousin Parker this past week. He took his first swim in the pool, and as you'll notice from the pictures whenever he is wet he looks huge in photographs. After each feeding he is much more active and noisy than ever. He "coos" a lot, it sounds like he is talking to us. I just put a mobile on his crib, he got very excited the first time he heard and saw it.
We are not sure when he started smiling, but these past few days have been a lot of fun. Sunday seemed like a definitely breakthrough with his expressions.
